P.J. Meats Mission Statement

Our mission is to do the best at exceeding our customers expectations by producing and supplying high quality, fresh and consistent Halal meat products at the most competitive price.

All staff at P.J. Meats are valued assets and employed not only for their industry skills, but for their positive attitude, customer focus and commitment to superior production and quality control processes, in line with the company mission statement.

The Company

P.J. Meats Pty Ltd was established in 1986 as a retail butcher shop in Glenroy Melbourne. In 1993, the company integrated backward to establish itself as a reputable wholesaler of pre-packed and vacuum packed products.

By 2010, the company’s success and rapid growth resulted in relocation to a new state-of-the-art meat processing plant in Thomastown, Victoria.
Today, P.J. Meats Pty Ltd has firmly established itself as one of Victoria’s finest Halal meat wholesalers and it services an extensive client base throughout Australia.

Company Directors

The company directors, Paul Papa and Gabriel Lotesto have over 50 years combined experience within the meat industry, both standing out in the trade many years ago as apprentice butchers. Paul and Gab’s strong partnership and coherent vision for the company, along with the backing of their professional and experienced management team have been the key determinants in driving the company’s success.

In June 2002 and November 2002, P.J. Meats Pty Ltd was featured on Channel 7’s “Today Tonight” program for its superior product quality and price in comparison to its rivals and supermarket chains.
